Darwin F. Brown concentrates his private wealth servicespractice in matters related to estate planning, family business planning, and tax-exempt organizations. Particular areas of emphasisinclude planning for artists, art collectors, medical professionals and public personalities (professional athletes and entertainers). His estate planning practice includes strategic planning for asset protection, inter-generational wealth transfers, and intellectual property interests. He brings significant investment experience to his practice having worked in the capital markets as institutional portfolio manager for more than ten years

He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. He is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association and Cook County Bar Association where he chairs the Private Wealth Services Committee. Mr. Brown is not yet admitted to the State Bar of Georgia. He is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and currently serves as Founding President of the Tau Chapter Educational Foundation. He is an alum of the United Way's Volunteer Involvement Program (V.I.P.) and serves on the Board of Directors of Art Papers Magazine as well as the Board of Trustees for First Congregational United Church of Christ.

Mr. Brown earned his B.S. in 1988 from the College of Commerce at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. in 1991 from the University of Illinois College of Law.
